            <description><![CDATA[Assistant Web Designer required in Belfast.  To apply to this paid placement, 2011 graduates need to go to link for the Professional Experience Programme and Graduate Certificate in Professional Practice.<br />
Role will involve:
<ul> 
	<li>Work on a commercial website and gain a large audience for your work.</li>
	<li>Engage in challenging, often innovative projects that impact millions of customers.
Create innovative (and usable) interface designs, are at an advanced level with XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and have a thorough knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices.</li>

Needs:
<ul>
	<li>Development of web clients using best practice JavaScript techniques e.g. JQuery or Dojo (Dojox and Dijit)Web Designer knowledge and work experience including freelance in semantic HTML(5), CSS(3), and JavaScript(dojo/JQuery IDE (RAD/Eclipse, Net beans) experience</li>
	<li>Good knowledge of all major web browsers and plugins</li>
	<li>Ability to create compelling (and well-formed) web design within the parameters of an established brand and in service of specific e-commerce goals</li>
	<li>Interaction design, templating, prototyping, user experience background</li>
	<li>Strong design skills (Photoshop, Fireworks, paper & pencil)</li>
	<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate at various levels and across cultures</li>
	<li>Flexibility and a talent for balancing multiple deadlines and priorities</li>
</ul>
